Workmen are still hard at work - evidently - on road works which are way behind schedule.

And this was the scene at Princes St. yesterday morning where roadworks should have been finished TEN DAYS ago...

Oh stuff the shop keeper, " we can do
what we like " attitude.
There should be a clause written into
the contract , a charge of £4,000 per
day will be levied against the company for any overun.
Then we should also ask who gave the contract
and why they didn't check this company
out

Does anybody know why the work has stopped, there must be a good reason.
The road is fully open it is only the top surface that is missing.

Ran out of brexit it was ordered but not delivered.

Ok, so it’s finished........apart from the part that’s not finished. Clear as mud.

It's been rather wet with a lot of rain recently.
The stuff doesn't stick to the road as well if it is wet.
