If you follow Woodlands Animal Sanctuary you may remember that they were part of the Support Adoption for Pets and Pets at Home Santa Paws appeal last December. Well, they have just received a fantastic £1547.75 from them! This fabulous amount is down to the work that the wonderful team at Pets at Home Preston Docks did during the appeal.


It is also thanks to Dave and his team that the animal rescue received over £700 worth of VIP points which they can spend in store for the animals in their care. This time of year can be tricky for a lot of people as they wait for the first pay day after Christmas – but for Woodlands it can be especially tricky, because they are dependent upon donations from their supporters. So, donations like this, are very much welcomed, and needed at any time of the year – but January – mid lockdown – mid global pandemic, is definitely very much appreciated in deed.

Woodlands Animal Sanctuary operates all year round, 7 days a week, and although they may not be able to accommodate members of the public on a daily basis, due to not having the resources – they are very much active and working. To provide sanctuary and the opportunity of a second chance of a happy ever after to cats, guinea pigs and hedgehogs. That is not forgetting the variety of animals they have permanently living on their site as residents, because for one reason or another they do not feel that can be rehomed.
