Woodlands Animal Sanctuary would like to thank everyone who has nominated them for the Pet Plan & ADCH Animal Charity Awards 2021. They have received multiple nominations including all three categories – for which they are incredibly grateful and proud.
The categories include Animal Charity Team of the year, Employee and Volunteer of the year and to have nominations in all three categories means so much to them. They are so aware that without everybody’s input, they would not be in the position they are and be able to help the animals they are helping and that their success really is a team effort.
Receiving nominations is such a boost, especially this year because 2020 has been so unusual for everyone. The animals are the reason Woodlands do what they do, and their combined passion and dedication should be bottled as it would be enough to light up towns. But to receive nominations means other people also value what they are doing and we all know how uplifting recognition of hard work and can be.
Nominations are open until 18th January 2021, when the impartial judging panel will then take over to decide who the finalists will be in each category. Pet Plan has no involvement in the judging process and the judges are impartial and independent key industry representatives. They have the incredibly difficult job of narrowing down the entries to just 3 finalists for each category! Every finalist is then invited to attend the awards ceremony where the winners will be announced.
If you would like to support the work that Woodlands does in your local area, don’t forget that you can still play their weekly lottery from £1 and be in with a chance of winning £25,000.00! Sponsor one of their animals, either for yourself or as a gift for someone you care about this Christmas and they even have a calendar ready and waiting to see you through next year with a smile on your face. Their weekly running costs are in the region of £3500 which takes a lot of finding, and so anything you are able to contribute really can be life changing for the animals in their care.
