Hells Angels in Southport
Does anyone know any Hells Angels from when Pleasureland was open? I was told by an ex worker that they used to work there.
I am making a documentary about nostalgia and places which are closing around the UK.
If anyone was a Hells Angel or knows anyone please get back to me

I remember a dude called/branded Bobby-Angel that used to hang around the Ship Inn, Eastbank street with a couple of others...in the late mid-late 70's. He was onboard for sure.
From what I can remember they where quite an easy going bunch as all Hells Angles tend to be, regardless of image.

There was a Hell's Angel called Bob McKewan who I think is now sadly not with us. He got married in a traditional Hell's Angel ceremony, over his motor bike using the workshop manual as the bible.
Fool me once - shame on you. Fool me twice - shame on me!

I was a Hells Angel in Southport in the late 60s early 70s . I knew Aunty Rat, Wigan Dave. Tommy Birchall and a few others . It was a long time ago and my memory is beginning to fail me . Most of them including myself worked on the fair ground.

Bobby Angel was my brother in-law, married to my sister Helen.
As you say, Southport Angels were an amiable bunch and eventually Bob moved up Cumbria way and got into soft furnishings!

I remember her coming back with a pair of stack heeled boots she had "Acquired". First time I'd stood over 5'6''. Didn't know you did the TT?
Were you on your own, or with your Mick?
