    Off to Wyreside this Wednesday....Wahaaaaay

Oh yes, there has been a break of a fortnight but at last, 24 hours of peace and tranquility awaits us with an added bonus of catching a fish.

If you haven't been to Wyreside Lakes before, here is a picture of one of the seven lakes that are available to fish (some of these are syndicate only) and it really is a wonderful place as well as having great facilities.

In an ideal world, we would like 3 nights and 4 days as this type of water demands that kind of time scale for a decent chance to catch but as we have families its a no no.

If you like to fish for specimen carp, then this is a place you should visit.

    I can't bloody wait

Edit: sorry for the huuuge pic, I was going to change it but I think it does it justice

Well m8, I think I will be sticking to my conventional hair rigs tbh and doing what I normally do. My standard choice of hook is a 6 anyway but if anything is going to change........its bait
Still using PVA etc but bloodworm might have to come into play.

    Bivvy heater ahoy

Its going to be this affy before I can make it as I need to crack on with a couple of things in the studio.
    Was thinking around 3pm ish.

Funnily enough, I have also been trying to get through to Catch 22 but the same for me, no reply

Good thing is, the temperature is rising a little compared to the passed few days so it won't be as cold as we thought....... still getting a heater though

    Yeah thanks Fingal

As I mentioned previously, its a hard water to catch on but when you do its worth it. The average is 27.5lb and considering my personal best is 22lb so far, I have my fingers well and truly crossed

I know we won't be cold though. Me and the mattster purchased a couple of rather fine bivvy heaters today. Toasty toes here we come lol
