    I understand this thank you Briana, but my point is experts on Antiques Roadshow, seem to over value things, which I believe is what John is also saying, I think...

    yeah, they always do, maybe makes better tv adding the wow factor to an item,,,,,there has to be many variations on price of items also,, regarding condition,,and difference of opinion..

    Lord Byron will do the selling for you

    I would except because you are very happy with the condition that a reserve of £100 in auction would be fair, you may get £200 on the right day less commission.

    Good luck

    Or you could value it at £150 and go and try to swap it with a dealer for an item in of his stock.
