Lancashire CCC will be playing an all ticket four-day home match against Durham CCC at the remote rural location at Sedbergh School in the Yorkshire Dales commencing Sunday,June 30.

Lancashire Cricket stated this Specsavers county championship match was being played at Sedbergh School to improve the links between Cumberland and Lancashire Cricket.Durham CCC have just announced a partnership with Cumberland Cricket Board and are offering reduced price tickets and transport for Cumbria cricket clubs to all of Durham's T20 Blast home matches this season.

The Lancashire Action Group which was formed in 2014 to stand up for members rights and facilities have received reliable information from a creditable journalist that 2 separate sources have allegedly informed him that high up Lancashire officials are looking to send family members to Sedbergh School in the near future.

In an effort to try and appease many disgruntled Lancashire members the club are supplying free daily coach travel from Old Trafford for those who can get to Old Trafford for 7.30am and numerous free shuttle buses from Oxenholme railway station.

This home match could have been played at either Southport,Liverpool or Blackpool cricket clubs which are established Lancashire out grounds and not a private school in Cumberland.
