    Can you tell me what this decanter is for? Is it just decoration? Is it worth anything

    Well Marilyn the good news is .....it is not damaged.

    every thing else about it is bad news, it is not an antique.
    Water jugs / decanters of this style are not and never where in vogue
    I have seen this set, but it had six glasses in some sort of holder and it was on sale at a church fair £18.
    you could put it on ebay
    start £4.99
    sorry that is the best I can do
    But I am sure you can do better.
