At approximately 00:15am on Monday morning Merseyside Police where called to the Leicester Hotel in Southport following a 999 emergency call made by a Southport taxi driver. It is reported hotel owner Karen Easter (63), who runs the popular southport hotel with her husband and former golf professional Clifford Easter, had entered into a disagreement with the taxi driver. Sister of Karen Easter, Pam (74), had allegedly urinated on to the back seat of the the taxi and when asked by the driver to pay a £40 clean up charge, Easter refused. It is also reported that after disagreeing with the taxi driver Easter became aggressive and assaulted the taxi driver. No arrests where made and the charge was eventually paid.
