Ironic that the closures are due to the Conservative Government austerity measures, and no I'm not a Labour supporter.

Also ironic that the Southport Tories dragged us from West Lanc's and sold us down the river into Sefton. All in all I think people blaming Labour for all Southport's ills should heed the old saying "never S**T on your own doorstep"

Thanks Roving Eye, quite funny.
It forgot to say what the New York Times news paper said in the late 1970's.
BOOTLE IS (Beautiful) BOOTIFUL

Also ironic that from 1973 to 1985 Conservatives were in control. And from 1986 to 2011, no party had overall control. Tell me, oh rose coloured glass wearers, what wonderful things happened then?
Labour only took control in 2012, during which time the Conservative central government was busy snip, snip, snipping at local authority budgets... and still is.

Labour spent too much.
There is also a population boom.
What about that chappy Hatton and the Loony Left?

Multiculturalism?
How come the left are always banging on about it then moan when it is provided?
Libraries?
They are white privilege.
In areas of high migration what is the use of a local library full of books in English?
The children in infant schools in some inner city's have classes with 26 languages spoken.
Community centres?
Overtaken by shops selling immigration advice centres.
Local Police Stations?
Not fit for purpose.
Centralised places able to acquire translators of at least 26 languages to victims of crime.

What about the Loony Right only last week Jacob Rees-Mogg was stopped by police riding his pennyfarthing in a reckless manner down the Mall.
