Qlocal gets results! Just months after the surface was replaced Qlocal was the first to report that pot holes were forming close to the Eastbank Street junction.

Contractors have today started to dig up and replace the damaged area.

There are slight delays as one lane of traffic is closed.

and to think people were more concerned about red v black tarmac. By the time this has been done in a few places it's going to look like a patchwork quilt!

That would be interesting if it was uniform all over. Still would have looked better if it had done properly in RED in the first place!

Are they going to sort out the drainage issues at the edges of the road? Or will pedestrians continue to wade through puddles of water when it rains.

It's not even funny now, a complete shambles and even more one of the biggest embarrassments for any builder, contractor or tradesman. To think it was only put down in DECEMBER 2017 and to have to repair it "2" months later......

If I worked for any company and this was the end product I'd resign, forget cost whatever.... Just simple PRIDE in your work PRIDE that's all, its disgraceful. FFS, All those concerned should hang their heads in shame.
