Contractors are taking extra care when demolishing an empty building next to the old Shakespeare.

Cheshire's 'Complete Demotion' are taking it down brick by brick and have covered it in mesh to ensure dirt and dust disruption's kept to a minimum.

Southport has lost so many of the old buildings it is a great shame! These buildings with fine architecture and quality materials will never be built like this ever again!

You forgot about the lack of insulation, the draughts and high maintenance costs only mitigated by the extra room size and ceiling height.
