he ever popular free sessions helping children to cycle safely is returning on a number of dates during the Summer holidays.



‘Ditch Those Stabilisers’ are aimed at children aged four and above to enable them ride a bike unaided.

The events have a very high success rate and staff from the Council’s highway safety team will offer a range of practical support to young riders and their parents.

Parents of youngsters that have taken part in previous sessions have said: “Thank you to you and your team for this morning’s cycling session. It was brilliantly run and the positive attitude and enthusiasm of you and your team was evident from the start. Great tips, great advice, and great results.” KW

Sessions will take place from 9am to 12pm on Tuesday 1st and Tuesday 22nd August at Litherland Sports Park Boundary Lane, Litherland L21 7LA, as well as Thursday 10th and Thursday 31st August at Shoreside Primary School Westminster Drive, Ainsdale PR8 2QZ.
