Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is working with partners to help promote the services available as part of the Sefton in Mind campaign aimed at improving mental health in Sefton.

Approximately one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. One in six people experience a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week.

The overall number of people with mental health problems has not changed significantly in recent years, but worries about things like money, jobs and benefits can make it harder for people to cope. In Sefton, there many activities and services happening in the community every week you might not know about which could improve your mental health and help make life a little easier.

From World Suicide Prevention Day to World Mental Health Day Mersey Care is working with local partners to spread the word about local services and activities available to people in Sefton as part of ‘30 Days of #SeftonInMind’ Campaign.

Sefton on Mind is a local campaign to highlight local activity taking place and the variety of services available aimed at improving mental health in Sefton.

On Twitter and Facebook, look out for the hashtag #SeftonInMind and join in by sharing details about your services and activities.
