Southport reached the final of the Liverpool Senior Cup on Tuesday after a 3-2 win over Litherland REMYCA at the Merseyrail Community Stadium, with goals from Rory McKeown, Louis Almond and Ben McKenna.

Litherland took the lead late in the first half before Rory McKeown levelled immediately after half time.

Two goals in 60 seconds followed on 68 minutes, as Louis Almond poked his effort into the bottom corner, before Alex Ryan levelled for the visitors straight from the resulting kick off. Ben McKenna finished the scoring on 82 minutes to send Port through to the final.

Prescot Cables beat Bootle 5-1 in the other semi-final.
