The Hoghton Players, Southport’s Gilbert and Sullivan Society proudly announce their next series of concerts for Autum 2107. This season we will be performing a staged/concert version of the evergreen comic opera The Mikado.

The Mikado features some of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most popular music, songs and characters and revolves around the convoluted plot where Nanki Poo, the only son of the Mikado of old Japan, finally marries his true love Yum Yum after many nearly fatal misunderstandings.

So far three concerts have been confirmed they are…

Friday 27th October 2017 – Holy Trinity Church, Tarleton
Saturday 28th October 2017 – Holy Trinity Church Hall, Southport
Saturday 4th November 2017 – Augton Villlage Hall

A further venue is yet to be announced

All concerts commence at 7:30 pm

Tickets for each concert are £7.00 ( no concessions)
