All roads will lead to Lydiate for hundreds of classic car and bike fans this Sunday as it holds the latest of its very popular classics events.
Speaking of which, will this marvellous Metro - snapped in the Sainsbury's car park on Saturday morning - be among them?
Crossen's man Jordan who works at a Liverpool city centre garage as a mechanic is pictured with his new pride and joy (I'm sure girlfriend Louise understands...) bought near London off FB for £1,000 last weekend.
He drove the car back up to Lancashire without missing a beat and it looks very presentable after its first valet, doesn't it?
It's the base model in wonderful Vermillion Red (if memory serves) and was attracting lots of attention among the boring models which usually park at the supermarket.
Also spotted later that morning was this Sweeney style Rover 3500S on Eastbank St. - harking back to when we had a motor industry to be proud of in the UK!
