Lovely lady.
I just noticed, when they're heading to Churchtown, Len is driving the wrong way. Instead of heading past Farmfoods and going up Albert Rd, he heads past B&M at the WRONG end of Lord St.

There was quite a bit 'wrong' with this episode - the biggest gaff was the claim that Rossi's ice cream parlour is still owned by the same Italian family that owned it in 1954.
Arlene then claimed the ice cream, served up by the current owners wife - doing her level best to look as Italian as possible, tasted just as it did in 1954!

Yes I noticed that, he passes Lulworth Road/Westcliffe Road heading towards Birkdale en-route to Churchtown in the next shot he's on the Coast Road heading the right way.
The train from Manchester Arlene arrives on is Merseyrail.

It would be quicker to get to Churchtown via Albert Rd and Cambridge Rd.....programme makers have no idea.

Len and Arlene used the China from my shop in the show and not from Brighton. I have a great picture with them on the old SGB on the spot picture.
