Yes, of course.
Might means the power to intervene, invade, topple governments …and 'set borders'.
That Jewish people, or any people have a homeland is one thing. Expelling the preexisting Palestinian population from their homes and forcing them to submit to control by a state that denies them full rights of citizenship is something else altogether!

Both the Jewish community and the Palestinian community are Semites. As are most of the Arabic community.
There are 5 million Palestinians living in Palestine, 7 million Jews living in Israel and an equal number of about 7 million Jews living in the United States

The underlying message by all the speakers was that more than two thousand years of the achievements and traditions of Jews in Arab lands had been largely ignored in Israel. |
November 30 has been designated as the official date on which the fleeing or expulsion of Jews from Arab and Islamic lands is commemorated in Israel and throughout the Jewish world.
A clue as to the reason for this was provided on Tuesday by Dr. Shimon Ohayon of the World Federation of Sephardi Jews who said that when the vote for the partition of Palestine was cast at the United Nations General Assembly on November 29, 1947, for the Egyptian representative warned that if the resolution passed, Jews in Arab countries would pay a heavy price – and indeed that is exactly what happened. There were pogroms in which many Jews were killed, Jewish homes and places of business were ransacked, destroyed and synagogues were violated and vandalized.
Ohayon, a former MK, in 2014 initiated the bill for recognizing November 30 as the official date for commemorating the exodus of Jews from Arab lands.
Of the Egyptian Jews 40% fled, leaving all their assets behind, said Ohayon, adding that the Arab League incited violence against Jews throughout the Arab world.
…
I deplore the fact that Jews felt compelled to flee Arab countries. That this happened in the wake of Israel's foundation was a tragedy and a loss for those countries from which Jews fled.
I must point out rumours circulated in Israel about the involvement of Zionist agents provocateurs¹ creating explosions in Iran thus exacerbating popular tensions. Precisely how that may have figured in the flight of Iraqi Jews, or otherwise to what end is open to speculation.

Babylonians were the enemy.
Zedekiah, (flourished 6th century bc), king of Judah (597–587/586 bc) whose reign ended in the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem and the deportation of most of the Jews to Babylon.

Personally, I take people as I find them, no matter what colour or religion. I have some really lovely Jewish friends and have had for many years. I will never forget the day when I was on the beach with my mate and we were struggling to get a vehicle out of thick mud - a group of Jewish men, in their suits, black smart overcoats and polished shoes walked over to us and began to help to rock the car so it could find some grip, they were getting mud all over their smart clothes - not many would have done that.
We are allowed to openly discuss the history of various nations are we not? So without offence to anyone, why do we not discuss as to why in particular the Jewish people appear to be discriminated against by so many.
Is it because the Jewish people since very early times are very often concerned in money lending? The World over despises money lenders and tax collectors for that matter - it is the business that the Jewish people in particular were hired during King John's reign in the UK. It was one of the conditions that Jewish people were allowed in the country in the first place.
Our own town of Southport started to deteriorate when all the Jewish business people moved out - Jewellers, Tailors, shop owners etc., No-one can deny that.
But it was not just the UK from where the Jewish people were banished - why did the same thing occur from so many countries? There were no computers or phones then - so why did so many different nations all across the world pick on the same group of people?
Throughout history - there have been accounts of really vicious attacks on other people, murders, mass killings etc., but none against the Jewish people. So they were not banished because of that.
Nor do the Jewish people need to be treated as if they need protection - they are quite able to stand up for themselves as Israel has shown.
But this particular question has never been answered - why should the Jewish nation in particular be singled out? Is it to do with money, their religion, their pride? - surely this answer is necessary to stop all the rumours and discrimination for once and for all against the Jewish people? It is the secrecy that breeds distrust, do you not agree?

As long as it is not a racist complaint we must listen to their point of view.
After all they are the people most likely to suffer more poverty.

So many stereotypes, so little point.
