Churtchtown business House of Mojos were shocked to find one of their bench chairs had been stolen overnight.
Shared to Crimewatch Southport and Surrounding areas group today, owner Lesley Morgan-Macbain said:
One of my bench chairs, the one on the left, has been stolen over night.
As a business owner in churchtown, I’m striving to improve not only my own business, but surrounding businesses within the area.
The chatty benches were placed to help bring the community back together, and to encourage unity and a place to talk after the pandemic.
It confuses me as to why someone would want to do this to a small business within the village.
I would be grateful if it was returned, but wouldn't be surprised if it wasn’t

Was the bench not bolted to the pavement? All the benches on Lord Street are.
