Unless I was dreaming I remember the BBC political editor stating on BBC News that Osborne has borrowed a hell of a lot more than Labour did. Yet their first words mirror yours everytime they open their traps

I don't know whether voting Tory gives you a superiority complex as I'd never put a x against the word Conservative, you see I am a working class man the 4th Generation of my Family to have worked on the Railway which has been savagely raped by this godforsaken rabble to the advantage of every European Rail operator on the Backs of the British fare paying passengers subsidising European Rail Travel. Well Done we fought TWO World Wars to save Europe to let the Tories roll over and THROW our heritage and Industry down the Toiletten/Lavabo or whatever other foreign name for the crapper you can think of.

So blindingly obvious and yet, with the undeniable truth that Gordon Brown was Chancellor and then PM of the UK only( ie NOT the rest of the word) and had no jurisdiction over the US banks-led gambling idiocy, the propaganda machine of the establishment's press worked its powers to lay the blame on him, benefit claimants and Johnny Foreigner.
As propaganda is more effective than competence regarding reputation, then it is hardly surprising that politicians place more importance on the former.

I thought dinosaurs had become extinct 65 million years ago but then along comes some Labour supporters to prove me wrong. Never mind, boys and girls, on 9th June you and what's left of your party will be consigned to history and put out of your misery. Tee-hee! I didn't know that those Tory Party members who we see at the conferences were modernist get-up-and-go types. Perhaps Jacob Rees-Mogg and his ilk really are the type we need to forge ahead in the ultrafast lane of 21st century global endeavour.

One of the more insightful comments I've heard is that Politics is merely Show Business for ugly people.

Just for interest the Conservatives always borrow more than Labour and pay back less when in power.

Still with Corbyn and Abbott losing them votes on a daily basis we will be getting the financially incompetent Tories again.

The Tories are the party of law and order, take care of national defense, or that is their b****it message, in recent time, who has cut the numbers of police down to numbers were they simply barely function? who scrapped £billions of military hardware? which very shortly afterwards we needed, but by then all the equipment was scrapped or dismantled for spares in the Nevada desert, while we had to beg, borrow or hire maritime surveillance and tanker aircraft, finally opting to purchase second hand out of date USAF cast offs in order to function, before anyone comes up with "this was essential in order to cut expenditure", the "remedy" cost much more than retaining equipment we already had.

Plus of course we have the Tory obsession with privatising every thing possible, can anyone with a clear mind and conscience point to a single example were mass privatisation has benefited the taxpayer or consumer, remember when Tory devotees say the energy industry or railways or whatever is now making a profit, who the hell do they think is paying for that profit?
