Report: Eunice Drummond
Despite a very difficult 2020, the National Garden Scheme were able to donate £2.88 million pounds to nursing and health charities and charities doing amazing work in garden and health.
And later this month, on Sunday 23 May, two gardens are opening for viewing between 11am and 5pm in Southport at 33 Clovelly Drive PR8 3AJ and 115 Waterloo Road PR8 4QN.
Combined admission is £3.50, and it's hoped that the generosity of garden owners and volunteers will result in another year when the National Garden Scheme will be able to donate to similar charities.
Anybody interested in visiting these gardens and those opening on future dates can obtain further information at www.ngs.org.uk
