Following contact from residents asking if the Crossens sign could be cleaned up, councillors have gone one better and secured a brand-new sign. The new sign is due to be installed within the next 3 weeks.

Having inspected the existing sign, Crossens’ Lib Dem councillors decided that a new sign was needed rather than just a clean up of the existing one. The sign should reflect the pride that councillors and residents have in Crossens so and a new sign is the proper way to do it.

Councillor Yaso Sathiy, one of the three Lib Dem councillors in Meols, said,

“The sign is the first thing that people see when coming into Crossens so it should do credit to the area and our community. We hope that residents will be pleased with the new sign and it will give a good impression to visitors.”
