Clothes and shoes can be items that stack up in your wardrobe and often the majority you don’t even wear. Woodlands Animal Sanctuary would love for you to drop any old or unwanted clothes or shoes at their site in Holmeswood, where they have a donation bin available in the car park 7 days a week.


The registered animal charity will then receive money for every kilo of donations they receive. As an independent charity they have to raise all of their funds themselves, which when running costs are in the region of £5000 per week, is an ongoing mammoth task. Your clothes and shoes will be recycled or redistributed which means everyone wins and you have more space for new clothes!


Currently caring for 26 kittens, all the adult cats they have in, hedgehogs they are rehabilitating & all of their resident animals – your cast offs will make the world of difference to the animals in their care.
